This Veteran’s Day, Friday November 11, 2011, Washoe County Senior Services and the Sun Valley General Improvement District will celebrate the day by honoring veterans with an event at the Sun Valley Neighborhood Center, 115 West 6th Avenue, from 1 pm until 3 pm. Several activities are planned including a BBQ with hot dogs and hamburgers and refreshments. The public is invited and admission is free.
