Reno, NV….On October 13, 2011 at approximately 1:31 a.m. officers from the Reno police department responded to the area of the 2200 Block of Flagg Dr. on a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident where the vehicle had fled the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with substantial injuries which have not been fully realized at this point.
The circumstances of the accident are currently being investigated by members of the Reno police department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.). Alcohol may be a factor in the accident at this time.
The vehicle involved that fled the scene is described as a silver or champagne Buick sedan with a white top. The vehicle should have moderate damage to the rear of the vehicle and to the front passenger door.
