Tahoe City, CA…Rafting along the Truckee River is one of the great summer past times in the Lake Tahoe area. Whether from a rafting company of just in your own personal rafts you can laze away hours floating down stream.

The 2-3 hour trip floating down stream to River Ranch is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon. Some of the rafting companies have already closed up shop for the year but we will no doubt have a few more “Summer Weekends” to take the trip

We shot these pics as we took a bike ride down the bike trail that runs along the river. So either way spending time along the Truckee River is a great way to spend an afternoon
