Washoe County Flags Flown at Half-Staff in Honor of Carson City Shooting Victims

In honor of the victims, including two National Guardsmen, killed during a September 6 shooting at an International House of Pancakes (IHOP) in Carson City, and upon request of the Governor, Washoe County facilities will fly their flags at half-staff until dusk on Friday, September 9.

“Our thoughts go out to the victims and their families during this tragedy,” commented County Manager Katy Simon, “and we are ready to assist Carson and State officials in any way possible.”
