Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that all next of kin notifications have been made regarding the fatal accident that occurred on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at approximately 7:56pm.

Deceased motorcyclist – Salsby, Michael – 21 years old Sparks resident

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.). Preliminary information indicates that excessive speed was a factor.
