Incline Village, NV…(Update…He was found unharmed at approximately 11:40am on Monday Morning and was reunited with is parents.)The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office currently has resources in Incline Village attempting to locate an 11 year old boy, who was reported missing by his mother the early evening of Saturday, September 3, 2011. The Sheriff’s Office resources include; Hasty Teams, Search and Rescue Personnel, Patrol Units, Detective Investigators, and the RAVEN helicopter.

Sam Singer’s mother approached a Deputy at the Sheriff’s Office Incline Substation and Dispatch Center wanting to report her son as a missing juvenile. Sam was last seen in the area of Laura Court and Dorcey Drive at approximately noon on Saturday, 09/03. Sam is approximately 5’4″ and 105 lbs. Sam has blonde hair and blue eyes. Sam was last seen wearing a red polo style shirt, blue shorts, black shoes, a backpack, and possibly carrying a tent and sleeping bag.

The Sheriff’s Office believes Sam is someplace within Incline Village. Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Sam or who can provide Detectives with important information on this case is encouraged to contact (775) 832-WCSO (9276).

A photograph of Sam is not available at this time. Sam has been entered into NCIC (National Crime Information Center) as a missing/runaway juvenile.
