Lake Tahoe, CA/NV….Hot August Nights 2011 is in full swing and is now moving to Reno-Sparks after a great kickoff weekend in South Lake.  From Montbleu Casino to the The Shops at Heavenly the stateline area was filled to overflowing with rolling art.  There was music, cars, vendor booths, contests, more cars, dancing, more cars and most of all, more cars!!

We have close to 200 photos and video of the great Root 66 Band that was playing at The Shops at Heavenly.  Below the photos is a list of venues where hundreds of different events will be held.

Downtown Reno is the host of the daily show-n-shines and nightly cruising. The venue is one of 3 sites for the Celebrity Choice Show-n-Shines on Saturday and is the route for the Sunday finale parade . You can also purchase official Hot August Nights merchandise at the this venue.

Grand Sierra Resort – 2500 East 2nd Street, Reno
Car participant check-in is held at the Grand Sierra Resort. The Grand Sierra Resort is one of 3 sites for the Celebrity Choice Show-n-Shine. Along with free headline entertainment at this venue you’ll also find sponsor displays, food, and official Hot August Nights merchandise.

Peppermill Hotel Casino – 2707 South Virginia Street, Reno.

Home of the South Lake Tahoe Experience featuring cruising, show-n-shines, car auction, swap meet, entertainment & much more. This event requires a separate registration from the Hot August Nights Reno-Sparks event registration.

Victorian Square – Sparks – 1000 Victorian Avenue, Sparks
Home to the Ultimate Classic Competition, as well as a craft faire and free headliner entertainment. Along with these events, each night will feature a cruise down Victorian Avenue and official Hot August Nights merchandise. Sparks is one of 3 sites for the Celebrity Choice Show-n-Shine on Saturday.
