Nevada’s Own Piercy Get First PGA Win at Reno-Tahoe Open

Reno, NV…Las Vegas born Scott Piercy put the Reno-Tahoe Open in the books as his first PGA Tour win. He held on for a one shot win today at Montreux Golf & Country Club.

With the win Piercy now has an invitation to next weeks PGA Championship in Atlanta. Congratulations Scott and good luck at the PGA.

Piercy turned professional in 2001 and after success on the Nationwide Tour. He earned his PGA Tour Card in 2009

Born in Las Vegas, Piercy turned professional in 2001. He played on various mini-tours before becoming a Nationwide Tour member in 2008. After a poor start to the season he won two tournaments in August, and finished ninth on the money list to earn PGA Tour playing rights for 2009.
