South Lake Tahoe-Valley Springs, CA…Joan Marie Hamrick was killed by a driver when she was crossing the road in South Lake after the Lady Antebellum concert this last weekend. She was struck by a pickup and later died of her injuries. Out thoughts and prayers to her family.

Joan Marie Hamrick, born in Stockton, June 4, 1951, daughter of John and Dorothy Huston. Went to be with her Lord on July 30, 2011. Survived by husband, Marvin Hamrick; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Greg (April) Kirk, and Scott (Vanessa) Kirk; Three grandchildren, Preslie, Jarred, and Scotty Kirk. Also, Marv’s children and grandchildren who loved her dearly. Joanie was preceded in death by her Mother ….

.Dorothy Huston and husband Stan Perry. Joanie was a lifelong resident of Calaveras Co. living in Burson, Wallace, and Valley Springs. Joanie loved life, spending time with children and grandchildren, being a friend to someone in need, and was loved by anyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Many hearts are broken by her passing.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Aug. 5th, 10:00 AM at 1st Baptist Church of Lodi, 267 N. Mills Ave., Lodi 95242.
