Enjoy two-for-one green fees and a chance for some quality family time out on the golf course when Washoe Golf Course hosts its next Family Day Special from 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2011

Washoe Golf offers a variety of Family Golf Day specials each month during the summer as an easy and affordable way to introduce young people to the great game of golf. The course also offers a number of special events as part of the PGA’s Play Golf America initiative.

What: Family Golf Day: 2-for-1 afternoon

When: 12:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2011

Where: Washoe Golf Course, 2601 Foley Way, Reno

Cost: 2-for-1 when adults are playing with children 17 and under

Check out Washoe Golf’s new Family Executive Course, a beginner-friendly short course that has been incorporated into the existing front nine at Washoe Golf Course. Golfers tee off from specially marked yardages along each fairway and use a special scorecard. The Executive Family Course is available from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. daily. Green fees are only $6. Carts are an additional $6, however, carts are not required to play the Executive Family Course.
