Reno, NV….UPDATE 10:30pm: Fires are now CONTAINED. A total of 25 acre burned. Official cause is still under investigation. Today was a “RED FLAG” DAY. We all need to be really careful out there. Great job crews!…..Multiple crews including air tankers are on scene of multiple vegetation fires at I80 and Patrick in Reno. There are structures threatened. McCarran Ranch is also threatened. More to follow as we receive. All train traffic has been halted east of Reno. Crews are stating cause may be sparks from a passing train.
