Lake Tahoe, CA/NV….Last Sunday we took a trip around Lake Tahoe to see how things were shaping up for the big Independence Day Weekend. It was a great drive. It was one of those days in the Lake Tahoe basin that needed to be bottled and preserved. It had perfect weather, happy people, cash registers were ringing and everything seemed to be purring right along.
We already had features on the sight on Zephyr Cove, Sand Harbor and Kings Beach so we decided to see how things looked from Carnielian Bay down to South Lake on the West Side of the Lake with a few photos from Burnt Cedar Beach in Incline Village thrown in.
Good sized crowds filled the beaches with Meeks Bay being absolutely jammed packed. We have just under 60 photos below so you can see how the west shore looks on a busy weekend.
