Crews are making good progress. The fire is burning nest to an apartment building at Parr Blvd. and Hwy 395. It is at 10 acres at this hour. No structures have been threatened or evacuations in place. Fire crews are putting a line around the fire to prevent spread across the freeway. Traffic control is in place and North McCarran is closed down. Please avoid the area if at all possible.
