Stateline, NV….Weather for the July 4th Weekend will be dry and warm but there is a bit of precipitation in store for us tomorrow and tomorrow night according to the National Weather Service in Reno. Winter is still trying to hang on in some parts of the Sierra as the shot of Caples Lake on Hwy 88 from last Friday shows above.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 46. West wind between 10 and 15 mph.
Tuesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11am. Increasing clouds, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Tuesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11pm. Low around 43. Windy, with a southwest wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to between 10 and 15 mph. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
