Listening to live music while relaxing on the lawn at Washoe County’s Lazy 5 Regional Park has become a popular summertime tradition in the Spanish Springs area.

Every Wednesday evening from July 6 through August 31, the park offers free concerts showcasing local bands and a variety of musical styles.

This year’s Series Sponsor is Summit Christian Church. Additional sponsorship has been provided by The Goddard School of Sparks along with Spanish Springs Pack N Post and Laurie Brazier of State Farm Insurance.

Lazy 5 Regional Park is located at 7100 Pyramid Way in Spanish Springs. Seating is on the lawn so bring blankets or low-back beach chairs. Dinner or snacks in small coolers are welcome. For the safety and enjoyment of all, glass containers and pets are not allowed.

August 31: Jo Mama closes the series with Blues, Rock, Latin, Funk Reggae, Swing and Country
