Lake Tahoe, CA/NV…The late snow has caught some drivers unprepared and CHP has issued tickets to some trucks for not carrying chains when they have become stuck in the roadway this morning. Unchained vehicles are having trouble on I-80 and other area roadways.

There is currently a vehicle off the roadway and a tow is enroute for a vehicle off the roadway Hwy 88 near the top of the Carson Pass.
