Update 9:56pm: Three people have so sadly perished at the scene of an airplane crash between Reno and Susanville……Reno, NV….The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a possible crash near Hallelujah Junction in Reno. Apparently someone called stating they saw an airplane on Petersen Mountain.

Washoe County crews along with the Lassen County Sheriff’s Office are working this case.

According to Lassen County Sheriff’s Office, a small plane took off from Roseburg, Oregon on Saturday going to Susanville. Apparently the plane never made it to its destination.

Emergency crews are currently heading to the area.
