South Lake Tahoe, CA…The Community Disaster Resource Center (CDRC), formerly the Angora Fire Fund wishes to update the community on the status of this organization which was established to distribute donations to, and serve as a referral source for those who suffered property losses caused by the Angora Fire. The CDRC’s funding for survivors of the Angora Fire has been completed. The CDRC’s legal and financial structure as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation will remain in place for future use by the community in the event of another catastrophic community-wide disaster.
The CDRC holds its annual board meeting each May. The current directors are: Dick Schwarte, President, Tillie Tommei, Treasurer, Pamm Bettencourt, Secretary, Buzz Bera, Wendy David, Catherine DiCamillo, Betty “B” Gorman, and Paula Lambdin. The records of the CDRC are kept by Tillie Tommei. The mailing address of the CDRC is at the office of its attorney, Michael McLaughlin, at Post Office Box 1309, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448.
