The El Dorado County Transportation Commission and the 50 Corridor Transportation Management Association are holding events to support “May is Bike Month.” Visit www.mayisbikemonth.com to register and log miles in support of “Million Mile May.” This year’s Regional Cycling Goal is 1.5 million miles!

Tuesday, May 17th: Smart Cycling Clinic, Noon – 1:00pm
Attend a “Smart Cycling Clinic” hosted by a League of American Bicyclists Certified Cycling Instructor. Learn about basic bicycling mechanics, equipment for bike commuting and rules of the road. The clinic will be held at the Government Center in the OES Operations Center, Building A, downstairs. Lunch is included and will be provided by the 50 Corridor TMA. RSVP to hazel@50corridortma.org.

Tuesday, May 24th: Annual El Dorado County “Great Bike Ride” Noon – 1:30PM

The El Dorado County “Great Bike Ride” begins at Noon in the ‘Breezeway’ of Government Center Building A. Participants will ride along the recently constructed section of the El Dorado Trail from Forni Road to the Weber Creek Bridge or Missouri Flat Road.
