Sheriff’s Office Issues Civil Infractions to 5 Local Businesses

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is committed to the safety and security of the public. By limiting the availability of alcoholic beverages to minors we will reduce alcohol related accidents and/or fatalities in our county.

The Enforcing the Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Program supports and enhances efforts by states and local jurisdictions to prohibit the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors and the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors (minors are defined as individuals less than 21 years of age).

The latest Washoe County Sheriff’s Office EUDL event was conducted on Saturday, April 2nd from 6PM – 2AM. The operation was completed with two teams consisting of two Deputies per team.

The two teams conducted business checks at the following locations: checking for business license issues, alcohol awareness training cards, work permits, and checking the patrons for underage drinkers possessing false identification cards.

Bully’s – 9725 Pyramid Hwy Sparks, NV

Bordertown Casino and Store – 19575 Hwy 395 North Reno, NV

The Paddle Wheel – 120 Country Club Drive Incline Village, NV

Village Grill – 18705 Village Center Drive Reno, NV (Cold Springs area)

9105 Lemmon Drive Reno, NV

Received: 1 civil infraction for not having an alcohol awareness training card

The Wayside

9015 Lemmon Drive Reno, NV

Received: 1 civil infraction for not having her alcohol awareness training card

The Black Tangerine

9825 S. Virginia St Reno, NV

Received: 3 civil infractions for not having their alcohol awareness training cards

Rookies

930 Tahoe Blvd Incline Village, NV

Received: 3 civil infractions for not having their alcohol awareness training cards

Village Pub

848 Tanager Incline Village, NV

Received: 1 civil infraction for not having her alcohol awareness training card

No underage patrons were identified at all ten businesses.
