White Rock Road: Scott Road to Placerville Road

Full Closure & Traffic Restrictions

Thursday, March 31 (8:30 AM) to Friday, April 1 (3 PM)
When/Where: Starting Thursday, March 31 at 8:30 AM, there will be a full closure of White Rock Road between Scott Road and Placerville Road (see map on back). Information concerning the closure is as follows:

White Rock Road will be closed beginning 8:30 AM, Thursday, March 31, and remain closed over-night. The roadway will be re-opened to the public at 3 PM, Friday afternoon, April 1.

The closure will impact all westbound and eastbound traffic on White Rock Road between Scott Road and Placerville Road including vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles.

Detour Routes: The public is advised to avoid this area during closure hours as there will be significant impacts to all roadway users. Detours will be in place to guide motorists around the road closure area.

Project Repairs: The full closure is necessary for work needed to replace a culvert which crosses under White Rock Road at Alder Creek.

Closure Period: Sacramento County understands the challenges and inconvenience that commuters, residents, businesses, bicyclists and pedestrians will experience during the closure period and ask for the publics’ patience and cooperation as we work to complete this project.
