Truckee, CA…UPDATE 3:30pm: 89 is now open…..Crews are working a reported avalanche on Hwy 89 at Alpine Meadows Road. The roadway is blocked and there are reports of one person trapped in a vehicle at that location. More to follow… Update as of 12:43pm they are closing Hwy 89 at Squaw Valley. Update as of 12:54pm…They have probed for vehicles were unable to locate any additional.
