Truckee, CA..It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at least in the Forecast. The National Weather Service has snow in the forecast everyday this week. Those who can make it up this week should have phenomenal conditions for skiing or riding.

Today: Snow. High near 33. Breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow showers. Low around 25. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Monday: Snow showers likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Southwest wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Monday Night: A 50 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Southwest wind between 5 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Southwest wind around 10 mph. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

VALLEY. THIS RAIN BAND HAS ALREADY CAUSED URBAN AND SMALL STREAM
FLOODING IN THE BAY AREA. RAIN RATES OF OVER HALF AN INCH AN HOUR
WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THESE EARLY MORNING HOURS. WITH SOILS
ALREADY SATURATED AND SMALL CREEKS AT ELEVATED LEVELS…THESE
AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL WILL CAUSE WIDESPREAD MINOR FLOODING.
