The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Division has been investigating an Incline Village resident, Eric Hosmer, for numerous counts of theft. Hosmer was hired as a groundskeeper by an Incline Village resident who owns multiple properties in the community. Hosmer was submitting fraudulent invoices to the accounting firm of the victim for payment.

On March 16, 2011, Hosmer was located in Incline Village at a construction site and taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility on 8 counts of theft with a bail set at $20,000. The investigation is on going and additional charges could be forthcoming.
