The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in a Burglary/Uttering a Forged Instrument incident that occurred at the Carson Valley Inn Hotel-Casino, 1627 US Hwy 395, Minden, NV. In the afternoon hours of Thursday, February 24th, two unidentified suspects cashed fraudulent paychecks for an undisclosed amount of currency at the cashier’s cage at the Carson Valley Inn Hotel-Casino. It was later discovered that the checks were fraudulent. The incident was reported to the Sheriff’s Office on March 11th.
The suspects are believed to be part of a group of suspects who have recently cashed counterfeit paychecks at several Northern Nevada area casinos.
The suspects in this particular incident are described as an adult female Hispanic and an adult male Hispanic. The female is described as mid twenties in age, approx 5ft tall, large-fat build, and long black hair pulled up in a bun. The male is described as early to mid twenties in age, approx 5ft-7in tall, thin build, with medium length black hair.

A reward of up to $500.00 is available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of these suspects.
