Tahoe City, CA…In a long incident that is just now coming to an end there were up to 7 vehicles involved in an accident and were stuck in the area of Tahoe Park Heights and Big Pine Road. Some of the vehicles had dogs and juveniles in the vehicles. The Placer County Sheriff’s Department has sent fire to help the people in the vehicles.

The accident occurred about 5:54pm this evening and towing equipment is still arriving on scene now.

This accident is a good reminder to always carry extra blankets in the car and be prepared in case you need to spend time in the car.
