Indian Hills, NV…On Saturday February 5, 2011 at about 3:30 p.m. Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to James Lee Park in the Indian Hills Subdivision of northern Douglas County on the report of a man hanging by his neck from park equipment.

The responding Deputy and medical personnel determined the man was deceased. The individual has been identified as 25 year old Edward Bortner, who lived in the Indian Hills area.

Subsequent investigation has determined Bortner committed suicide.
