Truckee, CA…As a result of a coordinated investigation involving Truckee Police and Cal Fire personnel, the cause of this afternoon’s wildland fire was determined to have been human caused. A female suspect was taken into custody after evidence was obtained indicating she was responsible for setting several spot fires which resulted in the fire. She later admitted to investigators of having set the fires intentionally.

She is currently in custody with numerous arson charges pending. Her name is not being released at this time due to the on-going investigation.
