Sun Valley, NV…Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an early morning structure fire on Loster Way in Sun Valley. WCSO patrol Deputies arrived on scene at approximately 6:00 a.m. on June 17, 2022 as Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District was in the process of extinguishing the blaze, which was limited to one structure. While putting out the fire, a deceased subject was discovered in the burnt remains of the home.

Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are conducting an investigation into this incident. The identity of the deceased subject is unknown. The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office will be investigating the cause and manner of death as well as the identification of the decedent.
