Markleeville, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct bridge work next week on State Route 89 in Alpine County.

Route 89
• One-way traffic control from Markleeville Creek to Montgomery Street for bridge work from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2022.

Motorists should expect10- minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
Work is scheduled as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
