Wind Advisory in Effect for Monday

Incline Village, NV…A Wind Advisory is in effect from 7 AM to 8 PM PDT Monday for northeast California and far northwest Nevada, 11 AM to 8 PM PDT for western Nevada and the Sierra, and 1 PM to 8 PM PDT for Mono County. Potential for westerly gusts 45-55 mph, with locally stronger gusts in wind prone locations. Hazardous travel for high-profile vehicles, choppy area lakes, turbulence for aviation, strong ridge winds 75-100 mph, and blowing dust are all possible.
