Truckee, CA…The Town of Truckee is proposing to amend the Development Code to ensure clarity, streamline review processes, and ensure consistency with other Municipal Code sections. Issues such as this will go to the Planning Commission before going to the Truckee Town Council.

The Planning Commission consists of five individuals who have been appointed by the Town Council to review and act on matters related to land use planning and development and make policy recommendations to the Town Council.

This particular Development Code issue will be discussed tonight from 5PM. The next Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for be May 17, 2022.

As with the Council Meetings, the Planning Commission Meetings are held at Town Hall and are open to the public. You can also watch the meetings online through Truckee Tahoe Media.
