Reno, NV…Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hoge Road in Reno yesterday morning for reports of a man holding someone at gunpoint. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered a homeowner detaining a stranger on his property. Upon further investigation, deputies determined the homeowner had discovered Christopher Gleason, 42, in the process of burglarizing a vehicle on his property.

Upon further investigation, Gleason was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, in possession of forged checks, and it was discovered Gleason had an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Gleason was arrested without incident.
The homeowner was not charged as he was lawfully protecting his property and was a lawful gun owner.
