South Lake Tahoe, CA…CHP responded to a traffic collision on US-50 at Camp Sacramento. The incident was determined to be a solo vehicle that lost control and overturned onto the south shoulder of US-50. The driver was not restrained and was fully ejected out of the vehicle. The driver was transported to Renown in Reno, NV with major injuries. The passenger, a one year old child was properly restrained and sustained minor injuries.
Please remember to always wear your seatbelt and realize that it will save your life. The CHP will issue you a citation if they see you unrestrained. Saving lives is what we strive to do.
