South Lake Tahoe, CA…On May 6, 2021 at approximately 12:40 PM CHP Officer Nunes received a call of a possible drunk driver. A witness followed the driver from Lake Tahoe Blvd. to Sawmill Rd. CHP Officer Nunes located the driver near North Upper Truckee Rd. and he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Drunk drivers are extremely dangerous to other drivers and especially pedestrians in the roadway. Please be smart and designate a sober driver.
