South Lake Tahoe, CA- Just before Noon On December 16th, 2019 at approximately South Lake Tahoe Police got a call about a dead man in his home in the 1000 block of Lodi Ave. Police found Jorge Lemus Campos, 61, dead in his home. With the assistance of the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office and the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Department this case is under investigation and cause of death is pending autopsy. This case is an active investigation and more details are not currently available. SLTPD does not believe there is an immediate threat to the community at this time.
