Sun Valley, NV….Detectives with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office have completed the investigation of a suspicious death which occurred in the early morning hours of May 16, 2009 in Sun Valley.

On May 16, 2009 at approximately 2:05 a.m., Deputies responded to a home in the 8000 block of Chimney Drive on a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, Deputies found two female residents at home with a deceased male subject, later identified at Danny R. Grossen. Danny R. Grossen appeared to have an apparent gunshot wound to his forehead. At this time, Cynthia Bucher identified herself as Danny R. Grossen’s girlfriend. Detectives and teams from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Science Division were called out to process the scene.

On December 28, 2010, an arrest warrant for Murder was issued for Cynthia A. Bucher. Today, Detectives made contact with Cynthia A. Bucher and arrested her on the warrant without incident. Cynthia A. Bucher was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility. Cynthia A. Bucher’s warrant is a No Bail warrant.
