Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close northbound and southbound State Route 89 (SR-89) from Markleeville Creek to SR-395 in Mono County for the Tour of the California Alps bicycle ride. The closure is Saturday, July 8, 2017, from 5:00 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon). Motorists should seek alternate routes.
