Harrison County, Indiana…Erin Marie Moran (October 18, 1960 – April 22, 2017) was an American actress, best known for playing Joanie Cunningham on the sitcom Happy Days and its spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi. Saturday afternoon a call was placed to dispatch with a report of an “unresponsive female”. EMT’s arrived and found Erin Moran deceased. An autopsy is forthcoming.

In many ways Erin’s story is a sad one. After her initial success she continued to act and reemerged from time to time. Personal problems eventually took a toll…
