South Lake Tahoe, CA…On April 3rd at approximately 10:00pm, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department responded to Motel 6 (2375 Lake Tahoe Blvd) on a report of a missing adult female. The reporting party, long time friend and ex-husband of the missing, reported that Pamela Suwinsky left Motel 6 on April 3rd sometime between 1pm and 3:30 pm on foot. Pamela left behind her beloved dog, purse, cell phone and car. She did take her ID and credit cards with her.

On April 9, 2017, the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office dive team located a deceased female in the Truckee River north of Motel 6. She was positively identified as Pamela Suwinsky. Cause of death is still pending and this is an open investigation.
