Volunteers Needed For South Lake Tahoe Science Expo

South Lake Tahoe, CA…We are still in need of volunteers for our 2nd annual South Lake Tahoe Science Expo. Science Expo provides 30+ hands-on science activities for upper elementary students to learn about science. This year’s theme is Earth and Space Science. All the activities will be ready to go and you will be trained for your station. Don’t worry, no science background is needed and you might even learn something new while teaching the local youth!

South Lake Tahoe Science Expo will be at Lake Tahoe Community College from April 4th – 7th with morning and early afternoon shifts. There are also late afternoon shifts available on April 5th (Wednesday) for the public event. There is an optional volunteer training session on April 3rd 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm,
but we will also train volunteers the day of. We just recommend coming 15-30 minutes prior your shift to allot enough time.
