Law Enforcement Seeks Information In South Lake Tahoe Robbery

South Lake Tahoe, CA…On March 29th, 2017 at approximately 5:45 PM, Officers responded to a report of a male tied up and possibly stabbed inside his residence in the 3600 block of Spruce Ave. When Officers arrived on scene, they located a 43-year-old male South Lake Tahoe resident, bound and gagged inside his apartment. There was a significant amount blood found inside the apartment. The victim was transported to Barton Hospital and is in stable condition.

Further investigation revealed that the victim had been tied up for at least 20 hours. He was located by a co-worker who came to check on the victim when he failed to show up for work or return their calls. The victim’s car is missing, presumably stolen. Due to the sensitive nature of this investigation, no further information will be released at this time. There is no evidence that there is any threat to the citizens of South Lake Tahoe and it is believed that the victim knows who committed this crime.

The missing vehicle is a 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback station wagon, blue and grey, California License plate 7WFM387. If you locate this vehicle, please do not contact the occupants, call your local law enforcement. Attached is a picture of the actual vehicle taken March 6th.
