Sparks, NV….UPDATE: The Sheriff’s Office Detective Division contacted and arrested the suspect from the New Year’s Eve Armed Robbery, which occurred at the 7-11 Store at 5700 Sun Valley Blvd at approximately 9:50 p.m.
The 7-11 Store was able to provide Detectives with video surveillance of the crime in progress and the suspect was identified as Pileha McGlothin, a 30 year old Sparks resident. Pileha McGlothin was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on one felony charge of Robbery with a Deadly Weapon. Pileha McGlothin’s bail is set at $10,000.

The Sheriff’s Office Detective Division is seeking the public assistants in identifying a suspect from a New Year’s Eve Armed Robbery, which occurred at the 7-11 Store located at 5700 Sun Valley Blvd at approximately 9:50 p.m. The 7-11 Store was able to provide Detectives with video surveillance of the crime in progress.
On December 31st at approximately 9:50 p.m., a male walked into the 7-11 Store. The suspect produced a silver colored handgun and demanded the cash drawer. The suspect took the cash drawer from the clerk, which held an undisclosed amount of cash, and walked out of the store to a vehicle waiting across the street on East 7th Avenue. The vehicle was last seen driving down East 7th Avenue.
The suspect was described as a black male adult possibly in his twenties, approximately 5’10”-6’00”, with a slender build. The suspect was wearing predominately white shoes, blue or black jeans, black gloves, a navy blue baseball cap, and a blue/black/grey hooded sweatshirt. On the sweatshirt were pictures of large skulls on the front, back, and sides of both arms. The skull on his sweatshirt had a grey fedora type hat.
The weapon used was a medium sized silver handgun. The vehicle was described as a dark colored compact SUV.
The investigation is on-going and Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this crime and/or suspects to contact Detective Josh Liles at 328-3327 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
