Kings Beach, CA…The Placer County Sheriff’s Office, North Lake Tahoe station, is receiving phone calls from parents and concerned citizens regarding a social media rumor alleging that ICE/Immigration agents are targeting school bus stops in the Kings Beach area. We believe these posts are misrepresenting the facts and spreading misinformation. We are not aware any such operations, have not been advised of such, nor do we believe there is any truth to these rumors.
