South Lake Tahoe,CA…Based upon the National Weather Service’s high reliability of a forecasted widespread significant snow event for Sunday and Monday, the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit offices will be closed Monday, January 23rd.

Safety of the public and our employees is the most important factor in our decision to temporarily close an office. We appreciate the extra precautions visitors will make in planning for their trip to the Basin and during recreation on the forest.
