Tahoe Visto, CA….Update Jan. 11th at 2 p.m. Power has been restored to a majority of customers in the Northstar, Squaw, Olympic Valley, Alpine Meadows, Glenshire, Martis Camp and Truckee areas. We anticipate customers in Kings Beach, Tahoe City and Portola/Loyalton will also be restored today. There are still challenges to restoring power from Emerald Bay to south of Homewood. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE LINES ON THE GROUND. Call 911 if you believe downed lines pose an immediate risk or if you have an emergency situation.
