Truckee, CA…From Liberty Energy…”The majority of customers along the North Shore, West Shore and continuing through Truckee to Portola are without power due to a mudslide & falling trees that have damaged all of the three energy sources to the region. About 1,700 customers in SLT remain without power due to a fallen tree branch on a primary wire. There are reports of multiple trees and branches falling on power lines and poles—DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE LINES ON THE GROUND. Call 911 if you believe downed lines pose an immediate risk. Liberty continues to respond to outages whenever possible although closed roads and blizzard conditions are making some areas inaccessible.
