Truckee, CA…..(Update…I-80 Now Fully Open)CHP and Caltrans are now reporting the eastbound side of i-80 has reopened after a large mudslide on westbound I-80 that brought down powerlines on the eastbound side closed all of I-80. The electrical repairs have been completed and eastbound is up and running again. Crews are on scene and clearing the mudslide and westbound should open by this afternoon. The slide occurred between the Vista point and Donner Lake Rd. Westbound traffic is still being held at Truckee.

I-80 Eastbound has re-opened! And will be R2 Cisco Grove to Truckee.
I-80 is still closed, from Truckee over Donner Summit going westbound. All indications are the westbound side of the freeway will not re-open until the Afternoon.
If you are in Reno and trying to come to Truckee for work, you will be able to, just be prepared to show some type of identification/proof of employment.
If trying to get to the area or out of the area, you will have to use US-50.
We will bring you an update from the slide as soon as the sun is up.

SR-89 is Picketts Junction to US-50.
R1 Truckee To Tahoe City.
R1 Sugar Pine to Bliss State Park.
*Emerald Bay is Closed.
SR-267 is R2 Kings Beach to Northstar.
R1 Northstar to Truckee.
US-50 is R2 Freds Place to Meyers.
SR-88 is R2 Hams Station to Cyrstal Springs.
SR-20 is closed to Eastbound traffic from Nevada City due to a Mud Slide.
