South Lake Tahoe, CA…The Sierra Business Council (SBC) and the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce (Tahoe Chamber) are pleased to announce the next Chamber Connect for a Cause evening with the Sierra Vision Awards Mixer on Thursday, October 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Mountain Lab. This ongoing Chamber series is designed to partner with community organizations and connect members to important local issues.
The SBC Sierra Vision Awards recognize and honor leadership in diversifying and reinvigorating the local economies, communities, and unique environment of the Sierra Nevada. The Tahoe Mountain Lab is being recognized with a Vision Award for its innovation in designing an entrepreneurial ecosystem that promotes the expansion of opportunities within our local economy. Mixer attendees will get to know Tahoe Mountains Lab’s founders, Cristi and Bernard Creegan, Jamie and David Orr, while enjoying drinks and appetizers.
This event will showcase the Tahoe Mountain Lab, which is South Lake Tahoe’s first co-working space. This facility offers a mix of shared open-concept desks and private office space for the purpose of bringing together freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers in a productive and collaborative environment. “The benefit of working in this type of environment is having the opportunity to create connections that lead to meaningful professional relationships,” said co-founder Cristi Creegan.
Tahoe Mountain Lab is located in South Lake Tahoe at 3079 Harrison Ave. The Connect for a Cause: Sierra Vision Awards Mixer is open to all and free to attend. For more information on this event visit www.facebook.com/tahoechamber or on the Tahoe Chamber website at www.tahoechamber.org.
