South Lake Tahoe, Ca…South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue is holding its annual Open House on Saturday, October 8th,2016 10am-2pm to commemorate Fire Prevention Week. As part of National Fire Prevention
Week your city fire stations will be open to the public. Visit one or all three. Learn about your
Fire Department, see the apparatus, learn valuable safety tips, and enter into raffle prize
drawings.

The Fire Department exists to support our community in a variety of ways both emergent and non-emergent, we believe by getting everyone on the same page we can increase our level of service to the community and provide for department wide cohesion. This participatory management process empowered each member to take responsibility for outcomes at all levels.

Based upon the guiding principles the following mission statement was developed and adopted by the members of the organization:
